Giro's Collective was a group of anarco-punk activists who got together to start the Anarchist Centre in November 1981. The centre provided a rehearsal space, a vegetarian café and a concert venue for local bands. It provided a focal point for Belfast's punks when the Harp bar had closed its doors for the last time.
