Pleiadian better known as P-Money as around the track, is one handsome and athletic guy. His racing owner bought him back from his last connections just to retire him. The athlete made over $375,000 during his racing career and has a lovely personality. A vet here at the track was pleasantly surprised with how good they looked. He has had a long career as he was born in 2010. He has some minor swelling before he left the track and will have a month off but no hard limitations are anticipated. Nexus Unbridled is a 7 year old gelding that is waiting for his new job and his new person. He had an old condylar fracture repaired which is healed and causes no limitations. This young guy has yet to be named. He is by Lookin' At Lucky and currently stands 15.3h. No Name is retiring sound but really needed some more time to grow up physically. His owner/breeder Olympian Bode Miller, felt that even with time, he probably was never going to be very competitive on the track. His loss is your gain! He was fairly green upon evaluation so he is going to have some professional training before he is available for adoption. She's With It is a gorgeous unraced filly. She currently stands 15.3h and at 3 years old, she should continue to grow a bit. The lovely lady unfortunately injured herself in training and has a hairline fracture of her scapula. She has already had some time off and will need about another 2 months. Past Inspection is a 2015 filly by Eclipse Award winning Cape Blanco (IRE). This tall drink of water stands at least 16.2h. She has never raced but did injure a tendon in training. Kitchen Soup is a frisky, sound guy that is retiring at the age of 3. He is over 16h and just wasn't a fast enough racehorse for his owner to want to continue on with him. Instead, he decided an early retirement from racing was in order so that he could go on to compete in something that is more up his alley. He may mellow out the more he is turned out but he is currently "on the muscle" from his racing career. Mr. Tilch is a big, handsome 3 yr old gentleman thats stands about 16.2h. Everyone that has handled this guy thinks he's a real sweetheart. He is flashy with his four white legs and blaze. She has a laid back personality and we could see her being a low level all around horse, pleasure horse or possibly a polo horse with her petite size. Rightupyouralley is a sweet 2015 filly that hit the board in half of her starts. She stands at least 15.2 hand and has a nice, solid build. "Ali" had surgery to remove chips from her knees and will need some time to recover. She will be rideable and suitable for anything other than upper level, strenuous work. With her cute looks and nice personality, we think she is going to make someone a great lower level horse. (Posted February 2019)

Vinny Gorgeous is a gorgeous filly...unfortunately we could not take her out of her stall to get a decent picture. She did have a fracture in her right hind pastern that was just repaired. She will have sometime off to recover and has an excellent prognosis for a second career. She is at least 15.3h, 2014 model. Her trainer said "She is very good to ride and sweet in her stall." This horse...he is it. Never Gone South is a 2013, 16h+ Graded Stakes Placed and a Multiple Stakes Winner by Munnings. Need we say more? His career ended when he sustained a LF condylar fracture which was repaired. If you are not familiar with the injury, please do some research as it is literally a non-issue...he is completely sound and has no limitations. He is as good as new. In His Forever Home!

Devil's Passion is a 20 year old gelding...that's right...20! He was a pony horse and no one quite knew how old he was. With a little research, we found out that this fit, young looking guy is actually 20. He is not available for adoption but we wanted people to enjoy another success story. This guy is going to be semi-retired and will help out a bit in a therapy program at TAA accredited Brook Hill Farm in VA. He is sound, but it's time for him to enjoy the good life and work less. El Guerrero Azteca is a big, sweet colt. He had a serious case of "seconditis" running 21 times and never winning, though he was second nine times. This 3 year old gentleman has a "cracked shin" which has been evaluated by a vet. He will need a few months off to let it heal, but no limitations are anticipated after recovery. Little Big Lou is the sweetest 3 year old colt you will ever meet! He had surgery on his knees to remove chips and even the surgeon said "he stole our hearts." You will not meet a kinder, more gentle, snuggler than this 17h gentlemen. "Lou" will most likely be limited to flat work but he has a personality and demeanor that is well suited to dressage and pleasure and trail riding. Flint Hill

Flint Hill is a super cute 2013 mare by Offlee Wild. She was extremely calm and sweet for her Beyond the Wire evaluation and she is sound...she just wasn't the most talented racehorse. Though she was not officially measured, we estimate her to stand at about 15.2h. She has a lovely compact build and could go on to do anything. Legendary King

Legendary King is a great guy that we think will settle right into retirement. He is 10 year old gelding and has a been-there-done-that demeanor. Unfortunately, he has a bowed tendon that has bowed before. He will need a good six months off until he can be ridden, but this guy is worth his weight in gold. If you are looking for an extremely kind, playful, lower level prospect, make sure he's on your list for must-sees. (Posted July 2018)

Race and Shine

Race and Shine is a sound year old mare that was ready to retire. She just had not made any money in awhile and her trainer knew her heart wasn't in it. She is a sizable 16.2h and is as sweet as she is big. If you are looking for a nice all around horse to compete with or just to have as a fantastic pleasure horse, have a meet and greet with her at the Foxie G Foundation. (Updated March 2019)

Montrico

Montrico is an interesting lady. She had 13 starts and towards the end of her racing career she just flat out refused to leave the gate. She apparently decided racing was not for her and we have to say, we admire her decisive and steadfast nature. Her trainer got the message that she was turning in her resignation. He agreed with the decision and decided to retire her. Montrico is a well built 4 year old that is completely sound and has no limitations. She does have some scar tissue on a hind ankle from an old injury but it is purely cosmetic. If you are looking for a coworker to get down to business with, this is your lady...just make sure she likes the job you are offering her. We know that her trainer would still give her a great reference. (Posted June 2018)

Tiz Octavia

Tiz Octavia is a pretty, sound 3 yr old that is ready to start a new career. She loves attention and would make a great partner to work with. She does have chip in right knee, but two veterinarians (one who is a surgeon) evaluated her and both agree surgery is not necessary. The chip is off to the outside and is causing her no issues. Perfect Deal is the perfect deal! She measures about 16h, has a great attitude and is sound and ready to start a new career! She was lightly raced only running 9 times and winning 2 of those starts. She also is obviously a pretty girl too, but what is not obvious in the picture is that she has a cute, white blaze. D Mannschaft is a 3 year old gelding by...you guessed it...Mineshaft! This good looking guy will have 60-90 days off to let his body recover from the rigors of race training. The veterinarian that evaluated him has given him no hard limitations. He only ran twice and racing was just not his thing, however, your thing might be his thing! Love My Freedom is a 3 year old gelding that stands 16.1h+. As you can see, he is pretty handsome! Love My Freedom is also completely sound and ready to go! He had a chip removed from his ankle awhile back but has fully recovered and has no hard limitations. He is located at Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue and is worth the trip to see. (Posted June 2018)

Salsa Moon is 3 year old gelding who has only run twice. He stands about 15.2h+ and will most likely grow a bit. He is a good looking gent with a very nice personality. Who doesn't want a sound little sports car of a horse? View the Star measures about 15.3h and is a sweet, sensible lady with some playful zip...just not enough zip to be a successful racehorse. She also raced mostly in Canada so she has been there done that having shipped between countries and raced. Much Maligned

Much Maligned could be your all around good guy. He has a great personality but seemingly didn't enjoy racing. His exercise riders says he did not like going to the track. He ran 8 times coming in second and third once but never actually winning. This is the kind of guy you can tell will settle right into life on the farm being someone's pleasure horse, lower level show horse etc. Much Maligned just had surgery to remove chips in his knees, but has a good prognosis. Happiest Ending is a kind, beautiful 4 year old gal who sustained and injury. Unfortunately, She will not suitable for riding. She will be suitable to be a fantastic and loving pasture pet. She will go on to participate in the Saratoga WarHorse to help veterans in a therapeutic setting, but she will remain available for adoption through the Foxie G Foundation. Money Road is a big sweetheart...and we literally mean big. This kind 5 year old mare measures 16.2h. She is limited to low level jumping because she has some wear and tear in her ankles. She is sound and happy and wants the life of a pleasure horse. If you are looking for a laid back lady to share trail rides, low level showing etc., she may be the right one for you.

This sweet gal is an unraced 4 year old. She's a cutie with a big white blaze on her face. She unfortunately sustained an injury in training and is now recovering from surgery in beautiful upstate New York at Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue. Nice Try is a 2013 super flashy gelding by Giant's Causeway. He is as sweet as he is good looking. He will be given a month off and then he'll be back to work retraining for a second career. Mr. Spaceman is a sensible, kind and obviously handsome gelding by Not For Love. Standing at 16.1h, he is currently recovering from surgery for a condylar fracture. These injuries are successfully rehabbed on a regular basis and no limitations are expected. The veterinarian at After the Races currently believes he will by rideable sometime in July. This picture absolutely does not do this handsome, solid guy justice. He is a fantastic, sensible gelding by 2011 Eclipse Award Champion Grass Horse Cape Blanco. Dig In Now is a pretty, 16h and growing, 3 year old filly that is known was the barn sweetheart at the track. Racing was not her forte so her great owner and trainer decided to retire her before she ever even raced. She is being let down from training and should have no limitations. Pearl's Love is retiring completely sound from racing. She had a tendon injury in the past that has had plenty of time to heal and she has no apparent limitations. This compact fireball stands 15.1+ and has a very balanced build. She also has two stars on her head...yet another indication of how special she is! Audacious Say Eye is somewhat of a diamond in the rough right now. This decent sized guy is at least 16.1...possibly a little taller. He was claimed for $25,000, so someone knew he had athletic ability ability. Unfortunately, he bowed a tendon in training and only ever ran twice. He is currently on stall rest and will not be able to be ridden for at least 8-9 months. He will be reevaluated to see if he has any limitations at that time. He may not be able to perform at the highest levels of various disciplines because of the old injuries, but he will come close. Good By Me is a 3 year old gelding retiring completely sound. When listing the reason for retirement, his trainer said "slow...abnormally slow." We don't mind slow at all. Cantate Domino is a lovely 5 year old mare. Her owner paid $50,000 for her and really hoped this well built lady would turn out to be a great racehorse. Unfortunately for him, speed wasn't her thing. She is retiring completely sound and is looking for her next career. She has screws in her left hind (white) ankle from 2-3 years ago when she had an old injury repaired, but that does not cause her any limitations. She has some skin disease on her back in this picture which should be cleared up soon. (Posted February 2018)
